Students encouraged to register to vote

During January, February and March 2009 The Electoral Commission is running a campaign to encourage students to register to vote.

Research shows that as many as 22% of students are not on the electoral register.  Many more are not aware that they can register to vote at both their home and term-time addresses.  Our campaign encourages students to register to vote at their term-time address so they can have their say on issues that affect them.
